Previous experience is not a pre-requisite to employment because we run an Apprenticeship scheme and employ school leavers. However, a large number of our Apprentices do have backgrounds in the industries in which they now work.

Investing in People
As a growing company and market leader we are able to attract and retain the very best staff in the industry. We have a well established Human Resources department charged with recruiting and developing the top candidates from the industry.
In 2007 The Denman Group employs 300 people across the UK. We have numbers of Apprentices (Working to NVQ level 3) and we have also committed to recruiting further apprentices each year.
Training
Our Head of HR manages training needs across the business and he himself is highly trained with qualifications in Heath and Safety as well as a Masters Degree in Human Resource Management. We engage highly qualified people throughout our company in addition to training those who are in need of further training.
A programme of annual appraisals forms the basis year on year for the following years training budget and managers are encouraged to identify training needs to ensure that appropriate training takes place and keeps our staff at the forefront of trained employees in our industry.
Training is delivered by in-house qualified staff as well as by training specialists engaged in Training companies throughout the UK.
